How to Use PairTrade AI Finder: Reading Z-Score Signals and Backtests Step by Step
Most crypto traders spend every day trying to guess where the market is going. Where will Bitcoin go next? Will Ethereum break resistance? One piece of news or an unexpected tweet,...
More detailedFrequent questions
PairTrade AI Finder is a pairs trading screener that scans thousands of crypto, forex, stock and commodity combinations to find statistically cointegrated pairs. For each pair it shows a live Z-Score signal, the long/short capital split and a historical backtest, so you can see the setup and its track record in one place.
Correlation only shows that two prices move in the same direction, and it can disappear with market noise. Cointegration means the spread between two assets is stationary and tends to return to its mean. That reversion is exactly what pairs trading profits from, which is why the screener filters by cointegration, not correlation alone.
Each pair in the table shows:
- Signal: LONG SPREAD, SHORT SPREAD, CLOSE or WATCH. STRONG marks the most extreme deviations.
- Z-Score: how many standard deviations the spread is from its mean right now.
- Capital split: the exact long/short percentages (for example, 50.6% / 49.4%) to keep the position market-neutral.
- Stability: STABLE, MODERATE or WEAK, showing how consistent the cointegration has been historically.
A common approach is to enter when the Z-Score moves beyond ±2 and exit as the spread reverts towards 0. The screener marks these zones automatically as LONG SPREAD, SHORT SPREAD and CLOSE signals.
Crypto perpetual futures, forex, stocks and commodities. You can view all markets at once or filter by one category — for example, crypto pairs like VIRTUAL/LINK or forex combinations with EUR/USD.
Yes. The PairTrading.Pro Telegram channel sends live entry and exit alerts for pairs found by PairTrade AI Finder: the pair, direction, Z-Score and long/short split. You don't need to keep the screener open to catch a setup.
Signals are based on statistical tests and historical backtests, so they show probability, not certainty. Cointegration between two assets can weaken over time — the Stability column (STABLE / MODERATE / WEAK) helps you spot pairs where the relationship is fading. Backtest results do not guarantee future returns, and signals are not financial advice.
